THE BARNS
A little look at our stunning contemporary barn conversions just to see what you can expect from a stay with us here at Penpistyll Rural Retreats.
Adjacent to the owner's house and down a private country lane, the barns have recently been converted into modern accommodation with under floor heating powered by an air-source heat pump. Both self-catering, pet friendly and ready for your arrival, within a beautiful rural setting, both with garden benches, and private outside spaces.
Both barns sleep 4, with additional cot facilities for babies/ toddlers on request. Barns can be booked together for larger family groups
EAST BARN
The SITTING ROOM has a log burner and is furnished with comfortable leather sofas, occasional furniture, TV and DVD player.
There is a spacious SUN ROOM off the sitting room with sofa and comfortable chair & patio doors
The fully fitted contemporary style KITCHEN/DINER has views down to the Western Cleddau river valley. It is equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, hob and oven. It has a modern dining table and four chairs.
Leading off the hallway is a UTILITY ROOM with sink, washer/dryer, WC and wash basin.
UPSTAIRS there are two bedrooms.
The MASTER BEDROOM has a king size bed, painted pine wardrobe and chest of drawers. It has lovely views down the valley.
BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The FAMILY BATHROOM has a modern white suite of bath, separate shower, WC and hand basin.
WEST BARN
The SITTING ROOM has beautiful views through large bi-fold doors onto a private patio, looking down to the Western Cleddau river valley across the SSSI setting. It has a log burner, and is furnished with two large comfortable leather sofas, dark wood occasional furniture & large coffee table, TV and DVD player.
The spacious fully fitted KITCHEN is equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, hob and double oven and has light oak cupboards; there is a central dining table and 4 chairs.
There is a SNUG off the kitchen with comfy seating and a coffee table.
Leading off this area is the downstairs SHOWER ROOM with shower, WC and hand basin.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms & a family bathroom
The light and spacious MASTER BEDROOM has a king size bed, built in wardrobe and white painted furniture.
BEDROOM 2 has a choice of twin beds OR a king size bed to suit your needs and is furnished with a pine wardrobe / tallboy & bed side tables.
The FAMILY BATHROOM has a white suite of bath, separate shower, WC and hand basin.

FACILITIES & THE LITTLE EXTRAS
Barns are equipped with all towels, & bedding for your stay. Kitchen equipment, Vacuum cleaner, Washing basket & driers/outside line, hair dryer, & BBQ facilities. There is Private Parking for 2 cars per barn ( motorbikes also welcome). Private areas /garden/ patios are available to each barn, along with full access to our 7 acre SSSI site. There is also ample private space with each barn for bicycles and sports equipment. Each barn has its own herb garden & recycling centre
Barns comfortably sleep 4 for family visits, or cozy enough for couples. Should you be looking for larger family groups we are able to provide access for both barns together, just get in touch to let us to discuss your needs.
Additional Facilities are available on request, including : Cot & bedding, or High Chair; If there is something you need please just ask and we will be happy to try and assist wherever possible.
We also provide free of charge with each stay some useful personal facilities to include basic toiletries, toilet roll, eco-friendly washing liquids & cleaning materials, tea & coffee, & logs for the fire in the colder months. Dog bowls & towels for your four-legged friends.
